An illustrative past photo of me by Brownie Lake. The first link in the chain. That's because if it's too cold then it could damage the phone.

The way back to El Paso, Texas. To let you readers know how kind people are in Ciudad Juarez; it started when I walked to the wrong part of the border. I was going to walk across a part that was for vehicles only. But one of the Mexican Customs Officers was apparently getting off of work, so she gave me a lift to the border for walkers. It was kind of a stretch and my legs were starting to get tired. Anyway, I embarrassed myself by trying to make conversation with my broken Spanish. When I got to the border, there was a crowd of people, but the situation was orderly. And, remarkably it didn't take much time to get through at all.
